I stepped out for a bit and while I was gone alt.buddha.short.fat.guy changed. Only a couple of the oldtimers left and they don't post very often, heavy traffic but low signal/noise, and El Dupree is nowhere to be found. Kirsten Bayes seems pretty cool, though.
So I looked around and found that most of the old absfg webpages are gone, and the ones that aren't gone are old, haven't been updated in years... latish '90s. Oh, well, a bit of alt.philosophy.taoism mixed with some alt.thanatos makes a fair substitute. Think we can mistake Lao Tzu rather than Buddha for El Dupree?
